Rabbit Run Cover

Rating:
99% of 100
Made from thick clear vinyl and designed to be usable across our entire range of rabbit runs.

Made from thick (250 microns) clear vinyl with added UV protection our new run covers have not only been designed to be super strong but also very durable.

heavy duty rabbit run cover

At roughly 145cm x 100cm, this heavy-duty clear cover is usable across our entire range standalone and add-on rabbit runs.

large folding run with one cover

Each individual cover has been carefully hand-cut and machine-stitched. The 6 hooks are secured to thick elasticated material which really helps make it easy to attach to any of our runs.

Unlike a tarpaulin or any other type of material, our clear heavy-duty vinyl cover blends in nicely, allowing plenty of light in while keeping the majority of the rain out.

Run Cover on a Double Hutch with run

One cover per a run* is enough to provide sufficient protection from the rain and allow your pet to make use of their run - no mater the weather.

*If you wish to cover the entire large folding run like that shown in the image above then we would recommend the use of 2 x covers positioned side by side as shown.

Windsor Run Cover

Where can we deliver to?

Orders can be delivered anywhere in mainland England, Wales, and most areas in the lowlands of Scotland. If you live outside these areas we then, unfortunately, cannot deliver our products to you. This includes the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland (IM, GY, JE, BT)

Like most online companies we rely on (3rd party) courier companies to deliver all our orders around the country. As much as we would love to get our products in the hands of as many people as possible the cost of getting our hutches to anyone who lives outside mainland England and Wales is prohibitive - sometimes more than the actual cost of the product!

Delivery to Scotland

We can deliver to most lowland areas in Scotland. These include the following postcodes: DD1-7 , DG , EH , FK1-6 , G , KA1-26 , KA29-30 , KY , ML , PA1-19 , PH1-2 , TD

If you live outside these areas then unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery due to the high extra charges levied by the courier companies we use. You are welcome to arrange your own courier to collect from us, or we can deliver the items to a courier up north for onward journey to you.

Delivery to the Isle of Wight

The courier company that we use can deliver to the Isle of Wight. However, there is a delivery surcharge of £70 per order.

*This is an estimate based on the majority of orders sent, however, we cannot absolutely guarantee it.

1. Do you have different sizes for each model of run

We only have one size which has been designed to work with all our rabbit runs. It's roughly 145cm x 100cm in size.

2. How does the run cover attach to the run?

There are 6 heavy-duty hooks each attached to stretchy elastic material. The hooks have been designed to neatly clip onto the wire to hold the cover in place. /p>

3. How many covers will it take to cover my run?

One cover per run is enough to provide sufficient protection from the rain. We would recommend using 2 covers for the Large Folding Run if you want full coverage.

Product Care

All the woodwork has been joined, sanded, glued, bolted and finished to the highest standards. The wood we use in this product is a highly durable and scented softwood which is noted for its resistance to decay and rot.

As with all outdoor wooden structures we strongly recommend that you treat your hutch with a high-quality varnish or wood preservative before exposing it to the elements and that you re-treat it at least once a year (preferably before the winter season) to maintain the applied preservative and water repellent properties. We also highly recommend that you position your rabbit hutch in a protected area which is not exposed to the elements and high winds.

Chewing & Foxes

There is always the possibility that some rabbits and other rodents may chew parts of their hutch. This is out of our control and the onus really is on you to take the necessary precautions straight away to prevent or lessen the chance of them chewing parts of their hutch.

Our wooden hutches, like the majority of wooden hutch sold in the U.K, are not chew proof and we can't be held liable for any damage caused to or by your pet chewing or gnawing the product. Prolonged chewing can also weaken your hutch and decrease the protection they offer against foxes.

We would like to think that our hutches are made to a higher standard than most other suppliers in its price range. While we have purposely used thicker, sturdier wood, wire and locks with the aim to make it as safe and secure as possible for your pets we cannot absolutely guarantee that foxes and other predators won’t try and target them.

Foxes are by far the biggest threat that your pet will face so if you are going to keep your rabbits or guinea pigs outside then we also urge you to take these added precautions especially if you know you have foxes in your area.
