Rating:
100% of 100
Designed to help protect the wooden framework of your hutch or run from damage caused by unwanted chewing.

Protect your new hutch with our anti-chew trips.

chew strips

Each strip provides a hard, chew-proof barrier that protects the framework of your hutch from your rabbit's chewing.

Important points.

Where you position the strips will depend on the product you have and what areas you wish to protect.

1 set of 10 strips will not cover the entire framework of a hutch or run, so you may need more.

We recommend that you use this glue and carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions making sure to thoroughly remove any excess glue before allowing your rabbits back into the hutch.

Where can we deliver to?

Orders can be delivered anywhere in mainland England, Wales, and most areas in the lowlands of Scotland. If you live outside these areas we then, unfortunately, cannot deliver our products to you. This includes the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland (IM, GY, JE, BT)

Like most online companies we rely on (3rd party) courier companies to deliver all our orders around the country. As much as we would love to get our products in the hands of as many people as possible the cost of getting our hutches to anyone who lives outside mainland England and Wales is prohibitive - sometimes more than the actual cost of the product!

Delivery to Scotland

We can deliver to most lowland areas in Scotland. These include the following postcodes: DD1-7 , DG , EH , FK1-6 , G , KA1-26 , KA29-30 , KY , ML , PA1-19 , PH1-2 , TD

If you live outside these areas then unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery due to the high extra charges levied by the courier companies we use. You are welcome to arrange your own courier to collect from us, or we can deliver the items to a courier up north for onward journey to you.

Delivery to the Isle of Wight

The courier company that we use can deliver to the Isle of Wight. However, there is a delivery surcharge of £70 per order.

*This is an estimate based on the majority of orders sent, however, we cannot absolutely guarantee it.

How do you attach the strips

The strips are simply glued on. We have tested a variety of well know glues and have found that this glue is the best glue for this job.You can purchase it from Amazon here and it is sometimes available in the large Supermarket chains.

You do not need a lot. Just a few tiny drops per strip.

Unwanted Chewing

Unfortunately, there is always the possibility that some rabbits and other rodents may chew parts of their hutch. This is out of our control and the onus really is on you to take the necessary precautions straight away to prevent or lessen the chance of them chewing parts of their hutch.

Our wooden hutches, like the majority of wooden hutch sold in the U.K, are not chew proof and we can't be held liable for any damage caused to or by your pet chewing or gnawing the product. Prolonged chewing can also weaken your hutch and decrease the protection they offer against foxes.

We recommend trying out our new Anti Chew Strips and taking a close look at all the steps you can take to stop or at least lessen the chances of your rabbit chewing things they shouldn't.
