A Large Rabbit Hutch!
One of our largest and most spacious rabbit hutches. With over 17.5 square feet of space for your rabbit or guinea pig.
With A Tall Covered Run!
A tall covered run area gives plenty of protection from the elements. There's even enough room for a small child to enter and sit inside - playing safely with their pet.
Made With Super Strong Wire!
The entire run is enclosed with 1.2mm thick chew-proof wire (guage 14) which is inlaid into the wooden frame. A feature that separates the Balmoral from other similar looking hutches.
Convenient Pull-Out Tray!
There is a deep, plastic lined, fully removeable tray. When it comes time to clean out the hutch simple slide the tray out, wipe or spray down and slide back in. Nice and easy.
An Extra Wide Ramp!
We’ve made the ramp wider and longer. Easier for your pet to enter and exit the run. Less chance of them falling off. The entrance to their living area is wider too. Helpful for larger breeds of rabbit.
Waterproof Window Cover!
A waterproof canvas window cover gives you the added flexibility of protecting the living quarters from driving rain. Helps prevent the living area from becoming wet.
Convenience And Control!
The run section can be conveniently opened and closed off via the handy sliding door. Safely lock your pet away at night. Or keep them in the run section while you clean out their sleeping quarters.
Easier Access For You!
There are 2 large fully-opening doors to give you easy-access to the wide run. And 2 fully opening doors to the housing area are convenient for cleaning or cuddling.
Better Built Quality!
The Balmoral Hutch is a high quality well thought out rabbit hutch with a clear attention to design and detail not found on many similar looking hutches.

The majority of the wood we use in this rabbit hutch is a highly durable, kiln-dried white pine which is noted for its resistance to decay and rot.
Most rabbit hutches made in the U.K use this type of wood but unlike many other manufacturers, we use more of it!
You'll find that the framework is thicker and the majority of the hutch uses solid tongue and groove construction (and less cheap plywood).
This is why our hutches tend to be sturdier, heavier and last longer than many of the cheaper options out there.
1.Is there a Run for the Balmoral??The Balmoral Hutch doesn't come with an add-on run like that of our Windsor Hutch or Double Hutch but some people have used the Large Folding Run and a bit of D.I.Y ingenuity to attach it to the Balmoral. Just bear in mind that the L.F.R has been designed as a stand alone run and not an add-on run for any of our hutches so if you do want to attach it to the Balmoral it will take some D.I.Y skill. Take a look.
2. Can the Balmoral Hutch be constructed the other way? While some customers in the past have set up their hutch the other way around, it's not straightforward and would involve a fair bit of D.I.Y to do so. The Balmoral has been specifically designed to be constructed the way it is shown in the photos on our website.
3. Is the Balmoral Hutch big enough for two rabbits?A lot will depend on the breed of rabbit, how you intend to keep your rabbits and how much time they will get to interact outside the hutch. There is a huge difference in the amount of space a British Giant needs when you compare it to a Netherland Dwarf. Ultimately it's down to you. You know your set up best, which breed you intend to keep and how you intend to keep them. You can get all the measurements from our product pages so you can make an informed decision before you purchase. 4. Is the Balmoral Rabbit Hutch fox proof? We would like to think that our Balmoral Rabbit Hutch is made to a higher standard than most other suppliers in its price range. While we have purposely used thicker, sturdier wood, wire and locks with the aim to make it as safe and secure as possible for your pets we cannot absolutely guarantee that foxes and other predators won’t try and target them.
Foxes are by far the biggest threat that your pet will face so if you are going to keep your rabbits or guinea pigs outside then we also urge you to take these added precautions especially if you know you have foxes in your area.
5. Is the wood treated? Yes, the Balmoral Rabbit Hutch comes with a base coat treatment of wood preservative. But as with all outdoor wooden structures in our harsh climate, we recommend that the timber is treated on a regular basis to ensure a long life. There are many popular products available with Cuprinol , Ronseal and Wilkinson amongst the better-known brands.

Where can we deliver to?Orders can be delivered anywhere in mainland England, Wales and most areas in the lowlands of Scotland. If you live outside these areas we then, unfortunately, cannot deliver our products to you. This includes the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland (IM , GY, JE, BT)
Like most online companies we rely on (3rd party) courier companies to deliver all our orders around the country. As much as we would love to get our products in the hands of as many people as possible the cost of getting our hutches to anyone who lives outside mainland England and Wales is prohibitive - sometimes more than the actual cost of the product!
Delivery to Scotland We can deliver to most lowland areas in Scotland. These include the following postcodes: DD1-7 , DG , EH , FK1-6 , G , KA1-26 , KA29-30 , KY , ML , PA1-19 , PH1-2 , TD
If you live outside these areas then unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery due to the very high extra charges levied by the courier companies we use.
Delivery to the Isle of WightThe courier company that we use can deliver to the Isle of Wight. However, there is a delivery surcharge of £30 per order.
Moving Your Balmoral Hutch This is a big hutch which can be moved if needed. However, due to weight and size, this should only be undertaken by two people. We do not recommend that you push or pull the hutch if you want to move it to a new location. Doing so can result in you damaging the hutch or weakening the structure. Always carefully lift the hutch first when moving it to another location.
Caring For Your Hutch As with most outdoor products the lifespan of your hutch can be dramatically prolonged just by taking a few simple steps. Click here for our product care guidelines.
Positioning Your Hutch If you plan on keeping your hutch outside then we highly recommend that you position it in a protected area which is not overly exposed to the elements and protected at all times from high winds (or sudden gusts).

Unwanted Chewing Unfortunately, there is always the possibility that some rabbits and other rodents may chew parts of their hutch. This is out of our control and the onus really is on you to take the necessary precautions straight away to prevent or lessen the chance of them chewing parts of their hutch.
Our wooden hutches, like the majority of wooden hutch sold in the U.K, are not chew proof and we can't be held liable for any damage caused to or by your pet chewing or gnawing the product. Prolonged chewing can also weaken your hutch and decrease the protection they offer against foxes.
We recommend trying out our popular Anti Chew Strips and taking a close look at all the steps you can take to stop or at least lessen the chances of your rabbit chewing things they shouldn't.
