The Windsor Rabbit Hutch

The Windsor rabbit hutch has over 15 sq feet of secure space over two levels and can also be used to safe and securely house guinea pigs and other small furry pets.

It has 2 fully opening doors which makes is very easy to access the living areas of the hutch. The doors are lockable with secure barrel locks, a feature many similar designs don't offer.

The large slanting weather proof roof keeps the rain out. The roof also opens up and can be held in place by two metal stays. This gives you even more ways to access the hutch as well as allowing you to take a peek at your pet from above whenever you need or want.

There is also a free and optional roll down weatherproof flap. This can be secured to cover the large open door and is ideal for when the weather is foul and there is driving rain.

The hutch is fitted with strong fox resistant wire which is set into the wood. This means that not only is it bite proof it also can't be pushed inwards by a determined fox or dog. It also strengthens the overall structure.

The run underneath is accessible via a front opening door and there is also one on the side. A large pull out tray with a heavy duty plastic lining makes it easy to wipe down and clean.

The upstairs run is separated via a thicker than normal divider that has a large enough entrance arch for even the larger breed of rabbit.

The top and bottom sections of this hutch can be closed off should you need thanks to a handy trap door. Access to the lower run area is via a non slip ramp.

• At close to 30kgs we decided to seperate the rabbit hutch into two smaller more managable boxes as not everyone is able to pick up such a large box - so this makes it easier to handle the boxes.

All the woodwork has been jointed, sanded, glued, bolted and finished to the highest standards. The wood we use in this product is highly durable and scented softwood which is noted for its resistance to decay and rot.

We also ensure that an animal friendly wood preservative is applied to the hutch before it leaves the factory. As with all outdoor wooden structures we strongly recommend that you retreat your hutch with a high quality varnish or wood preservative as soon as possible and that you re-treat it at least once a year (preferably before the winter season) to maintain the applied preservative and water repellent properties.

All hutches are dispatched on a special next day delivery service. We deliver to all regions of mainland England and Wales. We deliver to parts of Scotland (lowlands areas only) however please check out our dedicated delivery page for further details.

Included are the instructions with clear and concise diagrams. Each bag of screws or bolts is labelled and shown on the instructions so there is no confusion when you come to put the house together. Estimated construction time 30 to 45 minutes.
